Hello!
We thought you might like to know a little bit about us, so we hope you will find this brief introduction helpful!
We enjoy life, travel, living in the woods most of the year, and living in Vieques during the winter months. Our home in Boston, Virginia sits in a 16-acre mixed-use forest where we garden, hunt for mushrooms, swim in the pond and walk in the woods with our dog, Neska.
We like to travel with small suitcases and find local places to eat, read, relax and have fun. We love all types of food, especially foods from the sea and places like Central and South America, the Far East, and of course, Puerto Rico! We both love to read and love the water.
Over the years we have lived on the west coast, the east coast, and in-between both coasts. We consider ourselves to be lifelong learners and continue to be amazed by the things we don’t know, as well as the beauty of the world around us. Together we have four adult children scattered across the country, including New York City, Richmond (Virginia), and Washington, DC. In this collection of children and spouses and partners and boyfriends, we also have dogs, cats, and three grandchildren, who are all delightful!
Family is important to us, as well as building relationships with new and interesting people from all walks of life. We enjoy hosting friends and family at our home in Virginia and hope that our relationship with Airbnb will be just another extension of our desire to welcome others into the community we love and our home away from home in Puerto Rico.
We welcome you to Vieques and to Sal del Mar. Please don’t hesitate to let us know how we might be of service!
