Yep, every house has them!
- The hot water takes a minute or two to make it to the sink and shower. When it comes out, it is usually very hot! The heater also cycles, so it may go from being very hot to cool, then it resets, and goes back to being hot again.
- Please turn off the BBQ propane tank (clockwise) when you finish. If you run out of propane, please contact us and we will be happy to switch out the tank.
- The front porch door can be a challenge to lock and unlock. Gently pull the door shut, then pull hard while you turn the deadbolt key clockwise or counterclockwise.
- When it rains hard, water will blow into the windows, usually on the east side of the house in the living room and the window above the couch on the left. Consider partially shutting the windows if it looks like a big storm is in the forecast.
- If you leave the light on above the front steps when you go out, it will turn on automatically when you return at night. The light switch is to the right of the front door on the bottom. ”On” is to the right.
- If you are having power problems, please contact us. We will be happy to problem solve the power issue(s) for you.
- If the Internet isn’t working, do a speed test. If it isn’t connecting, carefully unplug the router and gateway cords to the left of the washer and dryer and then plug them back in! If all else fails, call us!
- Remember that you are in Puerto Rico and that you are on vacation! The only “five-star” joint on the island was blown away by Hurricane Maria and, other than the loss of jobs, most are happy about it going by the wayside. Sit back, relax, have a pina colada, and enjoy! Life could be worse!
